Tim Lincecum Pitching in Slow Motion

Here’s San Francisco Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum, the winner of the NL Cy Young Award the previous two seasons, delivering his windup at 1000fps thanks to the Phantom Flex High Speed digital camera.

What makes this video great is Lincecum has one of the strangest deliveries in MLB right now because of his diminutive size. Also? Baseball is slow. Also, also? How do more pitchers not have significant arm injuries? Pitching is the least natural motion going. [via gizmodo]
