The Old Negro Space Program

This pitch-perfect Ken Burns parody is perhaps, the best thing you will see all week. The Old Negro Space Program approaches a level of comedy high-art that we haven’t seen from the internets in some time.

‘Retired’ black astronauts recall the feats and derring dos of the do it yourself African-American space program from the late fifties to the dawn of the seventies.

The ten-minute film was produced and directed by Andy Bobrow, who has written for the television series Hype and Malcolm in the Middle. [via]
