At the 2011 NBA All-Star game in Los Angeles, Kobe Bryant, of the Los Angeles Lakers was in fine form. He dropped 37 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and won his record-tying fourth All-Star MVP award.
“You could tell he started out from the start, he wanted to get the MVP,” Amare Stoudemire said. “He was not passing the ball, at all. But that’s Kobe.”
To celebrate vintage Kobe turning into the Black Mamba in front of the home crowd Sunday night, here’s the Robert Rodriguez-directed extra-long-Nike-commercial, which stars Danny Trejo at The Crippler, Bruce Willis as Mister Suave, and Kanye West as The Boss.
It’s a good thing Kobe Bryant is really, really, really good at not passing the basketball because he severely lacks the charisma needed to star in things like long commercials directed by Robert Rodriguez.
