Video Game Merit Badge

If I had bothered to stay in the Boy Scouts for longer than two months (a year? It’s all foggy), I would have won the shit out of their new Video Game Merit badge.

The requirements are pretty dumb, which essentially amount to playing video games or teaching an old person how to play one.

Even better would have been to award this merit badge for designing, coding, and releasing a video game.

to be clear, it's not a Merit Badge.. and is a good opportunity for parents and young scouts to learn about video games, moderation, the ratings system, etc. together.. it's not a bad thing. But best to actually understand what you're posting.
