As far as MIT pranks go, placing a Dr. Who TARDIS on the roof of a building makes for a fairly awesome surprise for incoming Freshman. The TARDIS landed on top of a building in Kendall Square. It’s not nearly as awesome as the Boston Cop Car holding the box of Dunkin Donuts, but it’s still pretty great.
