Honestly, I thought by now that Biosphere 2 would have been the idyllic garden that time forgot and that the people living there, (now with the second or third generation running around), had no idea what the outside world was really like from inside their peaceful garden of eden. I am crushed to learn that this is not reality. That it is in face, a broken down pile of dung, as if the inhabitants became too lazy to take care of paradise or just died and the military/government forgot to pull them out.
I’m seriously having a difficult time adjust my reality, that this $200 million science project just went belly up, and is no longer functioning. I really thought this project was going to be the future of human civilization. Sigh.
