Carrington Build for WordPress Seems Like a Great Option for Developers

From Herman:

A new WordPress theme/admin panel called Carrington Build does away with most of the coding required for custom page layouts and turns the experience of making a custom page as easy as drag-and-drop.The use of build modules allows for reconfigured layouts in a matter of seconds and Carrington Build then spits out the results in real time. It’s expensive to license, but it’s worth looking at if you’re a WordPress developer I think.

Right now I’m using Thesis, and while I love it, much more so than any other WordPress theme to date, there’s still some bumps to get over when designing and laying out the site. It’s not entirely user friendly.  If Carrington Build wasn’t $500 for a license, I would jump all over it.  It’d be nice to review it and see just how nifty its promises are, given that it’s only been available since August 3rd.

Have you considered playing with the demo server first?

Awesome! Thanks Devin. I didn't catch that this morning, but the site's bookmarked and I plan to go back to it later to dig around. Seems like a pretty awesome design/development project.
