More on Google’s eBook

Google eBooks, the new Google eBooks store that will compete with Amazon on price and selection, has launched in the US only.  For now.  Previously.

All in all, the layout of the store is nice.  Easy to navigate, affordable prices.  I haven’t found a decent ebook reader on my Android phone, so I’m curious if the Google app will be any good.  I also like the sync option, so that you can read your books just about anywhere. Will certainly be testing a few of the free books to see if I like this.

The big problem I had with the Amazon Kindle app is that I couldn’t access any ebook’s that weren’t purchased through Amazon. If Google has that option, then I think it’ll be a winner.
