Book Industry Trade Publications Folding

Interesting that both Kirkus Review and Editor & Publisher are folding in close proximity to one another. Both were owned by Nielson (the ratings people, yes), which is also looking to pawn off The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard.  It’s assumed that neither Kirkus or E&P could find suitable buyers, which is why they folded, however HR and Billboard should be able to stand on their own.

But basically, every arts industry is losing their trade publications.
