Well, this is an interesting development. There were rumblings that Pride & Prejudice and Zombies was going to get the cinematic treatment, but I sort of shrugged them off at the time.
Now, Variety is reporting that Natalie Portman has signed on to produce the film and play Elizabeth Bennett.

The buzz surrounding Quirk Books’s Pride and Prejudice and Zombies has been so loud the published moved up the release date to April 4 to capitalize on the swelling internet love affair.
